Sharif don't like it.

He really, really hates it! So do I!

I'm talking about Christmas music, of course.

Yesterday when I was out doing a little bit of shopping, I heard it. It was enough to make me stop dead in my tracks.

"Am I REALLY hearing this right now? WTF day is it? CRAP!"

Seriously, though. IT IS NOVEMBER, PEOPLE! NO-FREAKING-VEMBER!

It would appear as though my holiday-induced nervous breakdown may be arriving a little earlier than scheduled this year. Awesome!

They were playing super religious Christmas music at the new Shoppers, and I was half-seriously considering complaining.

What? No group singing of "I want a hippopatamus for Christmas" this year? Fo' shame, yo. Fo' shame.

Sarah, you will be dismayed to know that I am a fan of Christmas music. I have a small collection. I hope this doesn't change the way you feel about me and that you'll be able to overlook this flaw in my character.

It's okay, Brie. We can work around this. I *do* enjoy Christmas in Hollis... that can be our starting point!

Saturday afternoon I went power shopping on Main between Broadway and 28th-ish: every single uber hip store was playing carols! Wretch.
